Location: Near Helston
Lady seeks a caring and patient personal assistant to support her, in her home, whilst keeping her independence. She is living with dementia (moderate at this stage) and so an understanding of this condition is essential.
Support required:
· Meal supervision and/or preparation
· Some personal care
· Companionship
· Light household duties
Hourly rate of pay: £18
Hours per week: 4
Weekly schedule: 1 hour on Wednesday (late morning/midday); 1 hour Saturdays (late morning/midday); 2 hours on Sundays (approx. 0830 to 1030). These may well increase as needs do.
Essential:
· HMRC proof of self-employment
· Personal carer insurance
· Experience supporting people with dementia
· Current DBS
· At least two local references, with at least one related to a current/recent client
