Being a Home Instead carer is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits, client introductions and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care.
Your duties can include:
Companionship – ensuring our clients enjoy regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit.
Home Help – helping with everyday tasks such as shopping, meal preparation, light housework and accompanying clients to appointments and activities
Personal care – supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent.
Our ideal candidate:We are looking for kind, caring and compassionate people who enjoy spending time and helping older people. Each visit is at least an hour and you will be matched with a small number of regular clients so you can really focus on getting to know them
Essential Skills:You will need to be caring, compassionate and dependable.
You will be required to work some evenings, plus every other weekend. We will then aim to to build a schedule that works for you and for us.
THIS ROLE REQUIRES THAT THE APPLICANT:
RESIDES IN THE UK AND HAS THE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK
HAS A VALID DRIVING LICENCE AND ACCESS TO RELIABLE TRANSPORT.
