Job Opportunity: Self-Employed Personal Assistant
Please note: This role is a private arrangement with a person or family seeking support. You will not be employed by Humans Cornwall but will work directly with the individual or their family. The position involves assisting someone in maintaining a clean and habitable home. The role is funded privately by the family/person or via a Direct Payment from Cornwall Council.
Location: Camborne
A lady in Camborne is seeking support for 3 hours, twice a week, to help maintain a clean and organised home.
Support Responsibilities:
Cleaning the kitchen, sitting room, and bathroom (including dusting, hoovering, and mopping floors)
Bagging rubbish and putting it in outside bins
Changing bed linen for the family
Completing laundry (washing, drying, folding clothes) and putting younger children’s clothes away
Loading and unloading the dishwasher and putting pots and pans away
Rate and Hours:
Hourly Rate: £20.00
Hours per Week: 6 hours
Schedule: Flexible
Essential Criteria:
Good time management and organizational skills
Eligibility to work in the UK
Public Liability Insurance (if self-employed)
Valid DBS Check
Full Driving License and access to your own car
