Job Opportunity: Self-Employed Personal Assistant
Please Note: This role is a private arrangement with a person or family seeking support. You will not be employed by Humans Cornwall but will work directly with the individual or their family. The role is funded privately by the family/person or via a Direct Payment from Cornwall Council.
Location: Truro
An individual in the Truro area is seeking a professional, patient, and caring Personal Assistant to provide support both at home and in the community working as part of a team.
Support Responsibilities:
Personal care (stoma/catheter experience preferred)
Assisting with accessing the community
Providing transport to and from a venue outside Truro
Supporting with household domestic tasks
Assisting with shopping
Rate and Hours:
Hourly Rate: £14.72
Hours per Week: 15+ hours (potential additional cover)
Schedule: Flexible
Essential Criteria:
Patient and caring nature
Reliable and trustworthy
Eligibility to work in the UK
Public Liability Insurance (if self-employed)
Valid DBS Check
Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own car
