I have over 10 years of experience in the field of elder care. I provided care for and looked after my grandparents at home until their passing. I also provided individual home care for two elderly ladies, with whom I developed a very close and personal bond. In addition to this, I have one and a half years of experience working in a residential care home with elderly residents living with dementia. Based on my experience, I think the most important aspects for the well-being of the elderlies in a care setting are: Creating and maintaining a peaceful, calm environment (to provide an age-appropriate environment) for the elderlies entrusted to me.
