Join Chy An Towans as a support worker and discover a really rewarding role. You will be supporting people with a learning disability in the home and in the community to live life in the way they chose. Or you will be ensuring people feel comfortable and safe at night and wake feeling well rested.

Working in a friendly team or independently providing 1-1 support, you will enable the people you support to increase their independence in and outside of the home in all aspects of their daily lives. Also, at night supporting the team by completing various practical duties which help the team maintain high standards of cleanliness and homeliness.

Chy-an-Towans is a small independently run care home supporting adults with learning disabilities to live a full life, we do our utmost to offer a home for life, ensuring a sense of security for those that reside here.

About you

You’ll need effective communication skills, be respectful of people’s differences and have a flexible, positive and patient approach. Experience is not essential as training will be provided.

The shifts will be agreed on an individual basis depending on the right candidate’s availability. This could be potentially to fit in with school hours or evenings/weekends. We will be happy to consider anyone that wants Part time/Night shifts/Full time hours.
