Nos Nom

Nos Nom is a residential care home in North Petherwin, Launceston providing 1:1 support for two adults (18-65) with a learning disability and/or autism.

It is an active position as our service users lead a busy life which can include walking, animal care, concerts, cinema and theatre trips.

The service users also take part in day to day life skills such as shopping, cooking, cleaning and everything that comes with living together.

You will need to be able to assist in all aspects of personal care including medication administration.

The right candidate will be positive and outgoing this role can be both physically and mentally draining but we support each other as a team.

The right candidate:

Must be a car driver (must have a clean driving licence, vehicles provided)

All our animals are pets, we have horses, sheep, goats, hens, ducks, cats and two dogs.

We will provide on-going paid training to keep you working to your full potential and beyond.

Holiday entitlement is equivalent to six weeks pro rata, including bank holidays.

Must be available to work a flexible rota including days, evenings and one weekend in four. Hours to work are 8am – 5pm, 5pm-10pm or 8am-10pm. One weekend in four.
