Job Opportunity: Self-Employed Personal Assistant (Temporary Live-In Respite)
Please Note: This role is a private arrangement with a person or family seeking support. You will not be employed by Humans Cornwall but will work directly with the individual or their family. The role is funded privately by the family/person or via a Direct Payment from Cornwall Council.
Location: St Erth, Hayle
A gentleman in the St Erth area is seeking a live-in Personal Assistant to stay at his home for one week while his daughter is away.
Support Responsibilities:
Carrying out household domestic tasks to maintain a tidy home
Prompting and assisting with getting up and ready for the day
Preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Rate and Hours:
Hourly Rate: £14.72 + Sleep-in rate (to be discussed at interview)
Hours per Week: 98 hours + 5 sleep-ins
Schedule: April 24th – April 31st
Essential Criteria:
Eligibility to work in the UK
Public Liability Insurance (if self-employed)
Valid DBS Check
Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own car
