About Pendeen
Pendeen Community Care Ltd is a family run domiciliary care company serving the Camborne and Redruth area.  We have been providing care and support to  people in their own homes for over 25 years.  We pride ourselves on our low turnover and strong retention at Pendeen. Most of our carers have been with us for several years and have developed their careers with us. We aim to look after our staff in a similar way to looking after our clients and they benefit from the things you would expect from a care company.  As a small company we can be more flexible in terms of hours and shift and as we only work in the local area, you will not have to drive long distances between clients.

About the role

Our Community Care workers provide a range of services in a client’s home.  This will include:-

  • Personal Care (e.g. Washing, showering, toileting),
  • Domestic duties (e.g. hoovering, dusting, washing dishes, changing beds)
  • Lunch and tea visits (e.g. preparing food and drink)
  • Social visits (e.g. taking clients out, taking them to activities, supporting activities in the home)
  • Other support provided could be ensuring medication has been taken, collecting prescriptions, shopping.

Most importantly our Carer’s are expected to put the client’s needs at the centre of all they do.

Our Offer

  • Competitive pay including enhanced rates for weekend and bank holiday
  • Flexible working arrangements (4 shifts as day)
  • Paid Travel time, mileage and blue light discount card and a Christmas bonus
