About the role

This is a new and growing service situated between St Agnes and Perranporth, which will provide support to 11 people with a learning disability over the age of 50. We currently support four individuals and looking forward to welcoming more people to start the next chapter in their lives.  There are three bungalows and one house set in a beautiful rural location, with a sensory walk to the garden with a summer house, an activity hub and sensory room.

Having an understanding of a person’s life story and history will play a big part and help us to deliver person centred support and promote wellbeing. You’ll support individuals in all aspects of daily living including their personal care and medication needs.

Your role will extend to the activity hub, to promote and engage in meaningful and creative activities such as crafts, music therapy, painting, gardening, DIY and memory stimulation.

In addition to this we are also working closely with the university of Plymouth to transform the lives of the people we support with new enabling technologies.

We have positions for drivers and non-drivers who will support trips and adventures out where in most cases people have their own Motability vehicle for you to drive.

There’s lots of variety, to find out more about the role visit our main website.

Successful applicants for this role will require an enhanced DBS check.

Brandon reserves the right to close this job when sufficient applications have been received.

We are an Equal Opportunities employer and welcome applicants from all sections of the community.
