You will not be employed by or carry out work for Humans Cornwall; we have a dedicated team to help identify private personal assistants for care and support. These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *
Location: Saltash
A lady in the Saltash area is seeking support from a Personal Assistant to help her get ready for and transport her to College on a Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. She enjoys trips to the beach, dog walks and trips to art groups and galleries and would like support to organise these activities on Mondays and Wednesdays. This lady is a very talented artist, animal lover and fantastic swimmer.
Support required:
· Support to access the community
· Prompting with personal care and hygiene
· Supporting with preparing breakfast and lunch
· Encouraging independence with tasks wherever possible
Rate and support hours:
Hourly rate of pay: £14.72
Hours per week: 14 hours per week
Schedule: Monday – 4 hours 10am to 14:00pm (flexible)
Tuesday – 2 hours 7:30am to 9am. 12:00pm-12:30pm (pick up from college)
Wednesday – 4 hours 10am to 14:00pm (flexible)
Thursday – 0.5 hours 12:30pm to 13:00pm
Friday – 2 hours 7:30am to 9am 12:00pm-12:30pm (pick up from college)
1.5 hours for flexible working.
Essential criteria:
· Caring, honest, trustworthy nature
· Eligibility to work in the UK

. Valid DBS Check
. Valid Driving License and access to your own car
. Non-Smoker
