These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *
Location: Penzance
Sociable lady who loves fashion, arts and crafts, karaoke and dancing seeks a creative and patient personal assistant with a good sense of humour to support her with her hobbies and well-being. She has a diagnosis of epilepsy, learning disabilities, autism, and a language disorder.
Support required:
· Access to community
· Personal care
· Support with arts and crafts
Hourly rate of pay: £10.90
Hours per week: 16 hours – possibility for more to provide holiday cover
Schedule:
There will be a set shift pattern, but this can be flexible and negotiated.
Option for sleep ins – £88.02
Desirable:
· Driving Licence
· Experience with autism – however training can be provided
· Confident swimmer
· Basic I.T skills
· Physically active
