These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *
Location: Bodmin
Lady who loves reading, seeks a practical & fun personal assistant with an eye for detail. She has a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis & Bipolar disorder. Her partner, who is a wheelchair user, also requires some assistance with mobility.
Support required:
– Support around the house
– Accessing community & support with going to appointments
– Support with getting in & out of the bath
– Moving & handling an electric wheelchair
Hourly rate of pay: £12.00
Hours per week: 3 hours a week; days/times to be negotiated (potential for more hours)
Essential:
– A practical minded & empathetic person, who takes into account the needs of the people they support

– Driving License, preferably with a vehicle to fit an electric wheelchair
Desirable:
– Previous experience in a support role
– Someone who is versatile & flexible & interested in helping her explore natural alternative to support M.S
