These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *
Location: Bodmin
Lady seeks a personal assistant to support her in the community and encourage her to keep active. She has two small dogs and likes to go to the gym at least twice a week. She has mobility issues and can sometimes lack motivation to do physical activities.
Support required:
· Access to the community – gym, bowling
· Taking to medical appointments
· Light housework duties
· Support with cooking meals
· Support with walking outside
· Dog walking
Hourly rate of pay: £15 (employed) or £17 (self-employed)
Hours per week: 28
Working schedule:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays – 10am – 5pm
Start and end times can be flexible.
Essential:
· Valid DBS
· Eligibility to work in the UK
· Driving Licence – with own vehicle
· Public Liability Insurance (if self-employed)
· Patience and empathy
· Flexibility
