These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *
Location: Falmouth
Lady in Falmouth who would like to have a break from her home, seeks a kind and empathetic personal assistant to support her to access the community. Lady has reduced mobility and is a wheelchair user.
Support required:
· Support with going out into the community
· Able to drive or accompany in a taxi
· Company and companionship
Hourly rate of pay: £14.72
Hours per week: 2 – 4 hours per week
Working schedule:
To be arranged
Essential:
– A proactive and caring approach; willing to adapt to the needs of the person you are supporting
– Full driving licence
– Public Liability Insurance
– Valid DBS
– Must be self-employed
Desirable:
– Level 2 or 3 in Adult social care
– Access to a wheelchair accessible vehicle
