You will not be employed by or carry out work for Humans Cornwall; we have a dedicated team to help identify private personal assistants for care and support. These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *
Location: Dobwalls, Liskeard
We’re looking for a friendly and caring personal assistant to support a young man, who is greatly passionate about animals, gardening, and going for walks. He is looking for someone patient, kind, and understanding to help him grow in confidence, at home and in the community with everyday life skills. Your role will be to provide gentle support and guidance as he navigates social situations and gains independence with daily living, helping him gradually understand basic life skills.
Support required:
• Helping this gentleman to understand basic life skills out in the community
Rate and support hours:
Hourly rate of pay: £14.72
Hours per week: 6 hours per week
Schedule: Support will need to be flexible, and open to negotiation at the interview stage for the right candidate.

· Caring, honest, trustworthy nature
· Compassion, patience and understanding
