Job Opportunity: Employed Personal Assistant
Please note: This role is a private arrangement with an individual or family seeking support. You will not be employed by Humans Cornwall but will work directly with the person or their family. The role is funded privately or via a Direct Payment from Cornwall Council.
Location: Liskeard (Menheniot)
A lady in Menheniot is looking for a dedicated and reliable Personal Assistant to assist her with household tasks and general support. You will be joining an existing team of PAs, with opportunities for overtime to cover holidays and sickness. She is a passionate dog lover, with multiple dogs at home, and regularly competes in dog shows.
Responsibilities:
General household cleaning and domestic tasks
Assisting with decluttering and home organisation
Providing personal care support
Meal preparation
Medication prompts
Rate and Hours:
Hourly Rate: £12.00
Hours per Week: 5 hours (plus additional overtime for sickness and holiday cover)
Schedule: Flexible, to be agreed upon with the employer
Essential Criteria:
Comfortable working in a home with multiple dogs
Strong time management and organisational skills
Eligibility to work in the UK
Public Liability Insurance (if self-employed)
Valid DBS Check
Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle
