These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *
Location: Newquay
We are seeking a friendly, self-employed Personal Assistant (preferably female) to support a woman with her morning routine from Monday to Friday. Morning assistance will include meal preparation, house cleaning, and the occasional shopping support. We’re looking for someone who is patient, compassionate and has access to their own vehicle. Additionally, this role involves three hours per week dedicated to supporting her with community activities, accessing local facilities, or accompanying her to appointments.
Support required:
· Support with morning routine Monday-Friday
· Assistance with changing bedding, and other household duties
· Occasional shopping support
· 3 hours per week support to access community
Rate and support hours:
Hourly rate of pay: £14.72
Hours per week: 6.75 hours per week
Schedule: Hours to be negotiated, applicant must be flexible
Essential criteria:
· A valid driving licence
. Preferably female
· Caring, honest, trustworthy nature
· Compassion, patience and understanding
· Business Use Car Insurance – This is free to change for most people if not already held
