These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *

Location: Newquay, Cornwall
Lady with an assortment of interests such as music, F1, nature, wildlife and being creative, seeks a kind and empathetic female personal assistant to support with activities in the community and around the house. She has multiple diagnoses but mainly M.E and P.O.T.S
Support Required:
· Meal prep and cooking
· Housework
· Assistance with personal care
· Supporting her role in the family
Hourly rate of pay: £12.41 or £16.51 (if self-employed)
Working schedule:
12 hours per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays – must be flexible with times due to appointments.
Essential:
– A friendly and understanding person who takes into account the needs of the person they are supporting.
– A clean, full driver’s licence and car. Car must be able to hold the lady’s manual wheelchair when folded.
Desirable:
– A knowledge of M.E and experience of being a carer is a bonus but isn’t essential. Empathy/sense of humour is more important and there will be access to training courses.
