Job Opportunity: Self Employed Personal Assistant
Our client is a talented and intelligent middle-aged man with a passion for stimulating conversation filled with humour. He has a keen interest in a diverse range of music, with jazz fusion being a favourite genre. An accomplished musician, he has an extensive knowledge of music theory and plays the electric guitar at a high level, drawing inspiration from the renowned guitarist John McLaughlin.
Due to OCD, which has been a long-term challenge, he is currently unable to play music but is actively working toward this goal. He would deeply appreciate a Personal Assistant who can encourage him in this journey and possibly share a passion or knowledge of diverse music.
Support Responsibilities:
Engaging in stimulating, person-centred conversations
Supporting music-related interests and goals
Driving while he listens to music of his choice
Accompanying him on walks, meals out, shopping trips, and occasional concerts
Attending health appointments as needed
Requirements:
A highly person-centred approach, ensuring all activities are chosen and led by the client
A car driver with access to your own car (essential for outings and appointments)
Non-dog owners only, due to the client’s OCD
An interest or knowledge in diverse music genres would be a bonus
Role Details:
4-8 hours weekly (Flexible working pattern)
Pay: £15 per hour
