You will not be employed by or carry out work for Humans Cornwall; we have a dedicated team to help identify private personal assistants for care and support. These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *
Location: St Austell
A lovely lady in the St Austell area, who is passionate about cooking, going out in the community and volunteering is seeking flexible support to enable her to carry out the activities she loves safely. Your role will be to help her with her independent cooking sessions and work on a flexible rota to assist her with her community adventures with her Active8 group. Light personal care and use of a hoist may be required occasionally.
Support required:
· Support to access the community with her Active8 Group
· Support with independent cooking sessions
· Support with light personal care when required
· Use of a hoist when required
Rate and support hours:
Hourly rate of pay: £14.72
Hours per week: Flexible rota required for accessing the community. 2 hours every other Thursday for cooking sessions.
Schedule: To be agreed with the client but will need to be flexible.
Essential criteria:
· Caring, honest, trustworthy nature
. Female preferred
. Manual Handling training
· Eligibility to work in the UK
. Public Liability Insurance
. Valid DBS Check
