support. You will not be employed by Humans Cornwall but will work directly with
the individual or their family. The role is funded privately by the family/person or
via a Direct Payment from Cornwall Council.
Location: St Austell
A lady in St Austell is seeking support for 4 hours per week, spread over two
days. The role involves helping her build confidence and independence in daily
tasks, including cooking, personal care, household management, and accessing
the community. Support will also include travel training to learn local bus routes,
shopping, social opportunities (such as meeting friends in the community), and
understanding personal safety.
It is important that the hours are flexible to fit around her tasks and family
commitments.

Rate and Hours:
Hourly Rate: £12.60
Hours per Week: 4 hours
Schedule:
o Tuesday morning: 2 hours
o Thursday afternoon: 2 hours
o (Timings are flexible)
Essential Criteria:
Good time management skills
Strong communication skills
Confidence in cooking
Eligibility to work in the UK
Public Liability Insurance (if self-employed)
Valid DBS Check
