You will not be employed by or carry out work for Humans Cornwall; we have a dedicated team to help identify private personal assistants for care and support. These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *
Location: St Ives
A lovely lady in the St Ives area is looking for support with light personal care and accessing the community. She loves to go swimming and loves to go out and about in the community to have coffees and visit places of interests. This support will enable her to do these activities safely, and build up her confidence, also helping her get ready accordingly for the day.
Support required:
· Support to access the community, swimming and going out for coffee etc.
· Support with washing and dressing, getting ready for the day
Rate and support hours:
Hourly rate of pay: £14.72
Hours per week: 8 hours per week
Schedule: 2 x 4 hour sessions, days/times to be negotiated
Essential criteria:
· Caring, honest, trustworthy nature
· Eligibility to work in the UK
. Public Liability Insurance
. Valid DBS Check
. Valid Drivers License and access to your own car
