You will not be employed by or carry out work for Humans Cornwall; we have a dedicated team to help identify private personal assistants for care and support. These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *
Location: Truro
Lady who likes getting out to go shopping, have coffee and visit the beach, seeks a chatty and kind self-employed personal assistant to support her to access the community. She has a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis (M.S) and some loss of vision.
Support required:
· Companionship
· Accessing the community
Hourly rate of pay: £14.72
Total hours: 4hrs per week. Times to be discussed during the interview stage.
Essential:
· Driving Licence
· Valid DBS
· Public Liability Insurance
· Must be self-employed
Desirable:
· Previous experience in a support role
