You will not be employed by or carry out work for Humans Cornwall; we have a dedicated team to help identify private personal assistants for care and support. These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *
Location: Near Wadebridge
Lady who likes arts and crafts and cross stitch seeks a caring Personal Assistant to support with everyday living. She has a diagnosis of M.E.
Support required:
· Collect prescriptions
· Meal preparation – cooking and freezing meals
· Grocery shopping as well as any household items that might be needed
· Laundry
· Access to community – appointments, shopping, errands
· Support with some basic I.T
· General household domestics
· Occasional light personal care
· Light gardening
· Sort through belongings and gather items for donation to charity shops
Hourly rate of pay: £15
Hours per week: 6 – 10 hours per week
Schedule: 2 hours, 3/4 days a week – can be discussed further at the interview stage
Essential:
· Driving Licence
· Caring, honest, trustworthy nature
· Basic IT skills
· Must be self-employed
· Current DBS
· Public Liability Insurance
· Business Use Car Insurance
