You will not be employed by or carry out work for Humans Cornwall; we have a dedicated team to help identify private personal assistants for care and support. These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *

Location: Wadebridge
Elderly lady with a sense of humour seeks a personal assistant to support her with her morning routine. She has dementia.
Support required:
· Support with morning routine – getting out of bed, making breakfast, showering
Hourly rate of pay: £10 – £15 per visit
Hours per week: 2
Working schedule: 3 mornings a week
Each visit around 30 minutes, starting at approximately 10am – more hours available to cover holiday
Essential:
· Valid DBS
· Public Liability Insurance
· Must be self-employed
· Previous experience in a support role/supporting people with dementia
