About the role
We are seeking motivated and reliable Waking Night temporary workers to support adults in residential care settings overnight. Your role will be to maintain a calm, safe environment and provide reassurance and support throughout the night. You will act as the primary point of contact during the night shift and play a key role in ensuring the people you support have a settled night and a positive start to the following day.
Waking Night staff are required to remain awake from 22:00–08:00.

Monitoring the wellbeing of vulnerable adults and responding appropriately to any night-time needs
Promoting comfort and supporting individuals to maintain a settled and consistent night-time routine
Completing essential domestic tasks to ensure the home remains clean, tidy, and well organised
Recording events, observations, and relevant information accurately
Maintaining a professional, person-centred approach at all times
