Registered Nurse – Nursing Home

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our friendly and professional team at our nursing home. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents.

Requirements:

Current registration with NMC as a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN).

Handover from day nurses
Brief night staff team
Allocation brief
Fire evacuation brief
Medication round
Oversee night staff
Record keeping,
tasks in the diary to be actioned.
Medication round at 07:00 am.
Handover to day nurses.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide and oversee the delivery of safe and effective nursing care.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines.
Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, responding appropriately to any changes in their condition.
Develop and maintain individualised care plans.
Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
Support and mentor care staff to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.

Beech Lawn Nursing Home is located in the heart of Liskeard, walking distance to the historic town. Beech Lawn is a family run nursing home of 42 residents. We specialise in palliative care and other acute nursing care.
