Support a Confident, Digital‑Ready Care Workforce

A practical development programme for women working in care across Cornwall, designed to strengthen everyday use of digital tools and data, improve care quality, and prepare teams for increasing technology‑enabled care (TEC).

Develop your workforce using skills they already have

  • Build on staff strengths: observation, judgement, communication and insight
  • Improve confidence using digital systems and everyday care data
  • Support staff to feel capable and valued as care becomes more digital

Improve quality and readiness for TEC

  • Help staff turn day‑to‑day observations into clear, usable information to improve care outcomes and support service improvement
  • Strengthen proactive, preventative care using simple data and digital tools
  • Create a more confident, future‑ready workforce without technical training
  • Realise care and business benefits of TEC as it is rolled out as part of care delivery by Cornwall Council

Practical and low‑disruption

  • Delivered through a mix of in-person workshops and online sessions
  • Designed to fit around shift patterns and service pressures
  • Focused on real care settings and immediate application

Employer support

  • Proud to Care Cornwall contributes £130 per participant to support staff participation and backfill

This programme supports safer care, better decision‑making, and smoother adoption of future technology.
