About Promoting Independence South West Limited
Promoting Independence South West is a mentoring and support service for Adults with learning difficulties, disabilities, cognitive impairments, neglect issues, drug and alcohol misuse and mental health issues.
We work with our clients both within the community, and in their own homes. We cover Mid/North/West of Cornwall.
The team’s specialism covers a diverse range of mentoring/support, from daily living tasks such as, cooking, budgeting, shopping, to accessing public transport, groups, activities out in the community, education, and any interests in voluntary and/or paid work. We also support those with more complex social care needs, ranging from those with challenging behaviours, cognitive decline and self-neglect issues.
We are looking for individuals who have –
A caring, enthusiastic and inclusive approach to supporting others
The ability to contribute to a team and empower individuals to reach their full potential
Skills to communicate effectively with others
