Applying for jobs from outside the UK
Unfortunately, at present, employers on this website are not able to sponsor applicants from abroad who are not already living in the UK.
Unfortunately, at present, employers on this website are not able to sponsor applicants from abroad who are not already living in the UK.
If you are already living in the UK and have a Skilled Worker or Health and Care Worker visa, you must work full-time for your employer who has sponsored you. However, you are permitted to work an additional 20 hours per week for another employer. This employer does not need to have a sponsorship licence in order to offer you a job, so you can apply for any (part time) vacancy on our Jobs page.
If you are in the UK on a Student Visa or as a dependant of a visa holder, you can apply for any of the jobs on this website. You should make it clear in your applications that you do not require sponsorship.
If you wish to change your sponsor, and you already live in Cornwall, visit our Find Employers page [link] and look for employers who have the ‘International Sponsor’ badge on their profile. You can apply to the job vacancies they have advertised, but please be aware that they may not have Certificates of Sponsorship available. For further support, please email proudotcare@cornwall.gov.uk.
You can also download our International Care Workers app
If you don’t currently live in Cornwall, we suggest you visit the Home Office website where they have published a register of all the companies in the UK who have a licence to sponsor international workers. You can filter the register by area and make applications directly to any employer listed.
