How to nominate
The best way to nominate is via our online nomination form below.
- Read the category judging criteria carefully.
- Choose the category you want to nominate your care worker or colleague for. If you are entering more than one category, please make a separate entry for each nomination.
- Write an account of no more than 300 words saying why they should be considered.
- Submit your nomination before the closing date of 30th June 2026
Please note
- The awards are open to anyone directly employed and currently working within the external independent adult social care sector in Cornwall.
- Entries will be judged anonymously by a panel of reputable independent and impartial adjudicators.
- Nominations will be shared with the nominees after the closing date – the name of the nominator will not be disclosed.
- Nominations will also be shared with managers of the shortlisted nominees once shortlisting has been completed.
- Please make sure all information is accurate at the time of entry – Proud to Care Cornwall will not be held responsible for the publication of any information contained in the entry that was inaccurate.
- Judging will take place around 6 weeks prior to the awards ceremony held at Tregenna Castle.
