Loyal Bee Care
About the role
We pride ourselves on delivering quality care with the time needed to do it properly — no rushed visits, ever. Every visit is a minimum of one hour, ensuring dignity, safety and genuine connection.
We are a privately owned, nurse‑led service run by two experienced NHS nurses with 40 years of combined clinical expertise. Home should always be the best place, and we are passionate about providing continuity, safe practice, and unrushed, person‑centred care.
If you share our ethos and want to work for a team that truly values both clients and staff, we’d love to welcome you. We offer some of the highest rates of pay and a supportive environment where you will be looked after.
What we offer our staff
A typical day
You’ll be working between 8am and 8pm, with flexible options to suit your lifestyle. Shifts can be:
Early shift: 8am–3pm
Late shift: 4pm–8/9pm
Split shift: Early and late, if you prefer
Every other weekend if you are full‑time
This flexibility helps you balance work with home life while still providing consistent support to our clients.
Morning Visits (8am onwards)
Your day often begins by helping clients get ready for the day. This may include:
Gentle, respectful personal care
Supporting someone to get up, washed, and dressed
Preparing a simple breakfast
Giving medications
Offering reassurance, conversation, and a calm start to their morning
You’ll quickly become a familiar, trusted face — someone who helps set the tone for a safe and comfortable day.
Daytime & Companionship Visits
Many visits are centred around companionship, which is a vital part of wellbeing. You might:
Take a client out for shopping
Visit Trelissick Gardens, a local café, or a garden centre
Support them to stay active, connected, and engaged with the community
These moments often become the most meaningful part of someone’s week.
Lunch Visits
You’ll prepare a nutritious lunch and ensure clients are eating well. This is also a chance to check in on how they’re feeling, notice any changes, and offer support.
Evening Visits (4pm onwards)
Later visits may include:
Preparing supper and a warm drink
Helping clients wind down, get comfortable, and settle for the night
Providing evening companionship or reassurance
Supporting with bedtime routines and ensuring they feel safe before you leave
Why This Role Matters
No two days are the same. You’ll finish each shift knowing you’ve genuinely helped someone — often becoming a lifeline, a source of comfort, and a key part of their independence.
This is a role where kindness, reliability, and human connection truly make a difference.
