As Deputy Manager Registered Nurse with Leonard Cheshire, you will support the Service Manager in running St Teresa's, a residential home with nursing support in Penzance for up to 27 adults with disabilities
You’ll help the home run smoothly, make sure residents get high-quality, person-centred care, and lead a team of nurses and care staff with confidence and care.

Your working hours
This is a full-time role, predominantly working Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, including the expectation of covering nursing shifts as required. Flexibility is required to work weekends as required.
About the role
As Deputy Manager Registered Nurse, you will:
• Support the Service Manager and deputise in their absence
• Provide effective leadership, management, and supervision for a team of nurses and care staff
• Lead with passion and enthusiasm to ensure a well-run, compliant, and person-centred service
• Deliver high standards of nursing, clinical, and personal support
• Promote independence, choice, and positive outcomes for residents
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and all statutory obligations

What helps you shine here
• Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
• A level of professional development and registration (may include Level 5 Leadership in Health and Social Care)
• Experience managing a team of nursing and care staff in a care home setting
• Experience providing direct personal and social care
• Experience working with individuals with physical and/or learning disabilities
• Flexibility to work rostered hours
