About the role
As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will support individuals to live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. This role involves visiting clients in the community and assisting them with daily tasks that promote dignity, wellbeing, and independence.

This is a rewarding and varied role where no two days are the same, and you will have the opportunity to make a genuine difference in people’s lives.
What we offer our staff
A typical day
As a Domiciliary Care Worker, your day will involve visiting individuals in their own homes to provide support tailored to their needs. No two days are the same, and you will be helping people maintain their independence and quality of life.
Your shift may begin by assisting someone with their morning routine, such as helping them get dressed, supporting with personal care, or preparing breakfast. Later visits might involve helping someone take their medication, preparing a meal, or assisting with light household tasks.
You may also support individuals to attend appointments, go shopping, or access their local community. Alongside practical support, an important part of the role is providing companionship and building positive relationships with the people you support.
Throughout your shift, you will follow care plans, maintain accurate records, and ensure that each person receives safe, respectful, and person-centred care.
At Flourish Homecare, the focus is always on helping people live safely and comfortably in their own homes while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
