About the role

Karrek Community is a Home Care agency in Cornwall, and Karrek Lifestyles is a department offering 24/7 support for vulnerable individuals.
The individuals we support have complex care needs, and we seek to empower them to live as independently as possible at home and in the community.

We are searching for a Team Leader to work alongside the Care Manager to ensure the smooth opening of our new and exciting supported living home.



The Team leader will assist the Care manager to deliver all aspects of the day-to-day running of the homes, providing leadership to the care team in promoting person-centred care within 5 self-contained homes, they consist of 1 bungalow and 4 apartments with 3 services users on a 2/1 basis and 2 services users on a 1/1 basis.
This role is a 50/50 split in the office and supporting the service users.

Experience is Health and Social Care is not essential as we are looking for the right people with the right characteristics, and we will provide full training and support. In addition, experienced support workers will initially work alongside you on ‘shadow shifts’ to show you the ropes, and our management team will continually support you as you develop in your role.
