About the role

Live-in Care Assistant (Female)
Location: Penzance, TR18
£125 per day | Rolling 2 weeks on / 1 week off
Live-in role | Paid breaks | Full training provided

This is a rewarding live-in care role supporting one customer in his own home in Penzance. You’ll provide consistent, one-to-one support that helps him live independently, safely, and with dignity.

As a live-in Care Assistant, you’ll stay in the customer’s home during your working weeks, becoming a trusted and reassuring presence. The rota is 2 weeks on / 1 week off, giving you structure, stability, and regular time to rest and recharge.

This role is about supporting a full life — not just completing tasks.

£125 per day
Rolling 2 weeks on / 1 week off rota
Paid breaks
Mileage paid at 35p per mile when using your own vehicle for work-related travel

A typical day

A typical day might include:
Supporting morning routines at a pace that suits S
Helping with personal care and daily activities
Heading out together to meet friends or attend events
Sharing conversations, music, or sport
Supporting evening routines and ensuring S feels settled and comfortable
You’ll have clearly defined work time and downtime, with regular daily and weekly breaks.

Other essentials

Driving license required
Previous Experience required

Key Responsibilities

Your support will be tailored to S’s needs and routines, and will include:
Personal care
Moving and positioning
Supporting daily routines while promoting independence
Accompanying S to social activities and outings
Driving is essential, as S has access to a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) and enjoys being out and about.
