What we offer our staff
A typical day
The day usually begins with helping individuals with their morning routine, such as personal care, dressing, breakfast, and preparing for planned activities. Care workers support people to follow their care plans, encouraging independence and choice in everyday tasks.
Throughout the day, they may assist with medication prompts, attending appointments, completing household tasks, and engaging in community or social activities. Care workers also provide reassurance, help individuals manage anxiety or distress, and use positive behaviour support strategies when needed.
Regular monitoring, record keeping, and communication with colleagues and professionals are also part of the role to ensure safe, consistent care.
