About the role

Complex Care. Specialist Team.

We are building a dedicated Complex Care Team in Newquay to support a 24-hour care package in a customer’s own home.

This is structured, team-based complex care delivered by a consistent group of Support Workers, providing continuous care within a clearly defined care plan.

Increasing to £13.46 – £13.66 per hour from 1st April 2026

A typical day

Complex Care shifts vary depending on the care package, but a typical shift may include:
Supporting the customer with morning or evening routines
Providing personal care and assistance with daily activities
Monitoring health observations and documenting care
Supporting mobility and repositioning
Administering medication where required
Providing reassurance, companionship and emotional support
Completing accurate records and delivering handover to the next team member
Every shift plays an important role in maintaining a safe and stable care environment within the customer’s home.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Complex Care team, your responsibilities may include:
Delivering personal care with dignity and professionalism
Supporting complex needs in line with detailed care plans
Medication administration
Monitoring and recording health observations
Supporting mobility, positioning and pressure care
Maintaining accurate care documentation
Providing reassurance and consistent support throughout the shift
Delivering clear handover communication between shifts
This is a structured, team-based role requiring consistency, attention to detail and strong communication.
