About the role
To deliver support to service users of all ages and abilities by way of personal, domestic services and support in social activities in order to promote independence and enable the service user to maintain an enhanced quality of life.
The care worker will be required to provide the following support (this list is not exhaustive).
To provide assistance with:
Washing, dressing, toileting
General household tasks
Bed making
Shopping
Preparation and cooking of meals
The use of personal aids and equipment
The care worker may also be required to provide support in social activities.
The Care worker must at all times work within the Code of Requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act and within Penhellis’ Policies and Procedures, having regard to the safety, wellbeing and dignity of the service user and observing confidentiality.
