About the role
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Female Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Illogan, supporting a young lady with a brain injury in her own home.
This is a one-to-one complex care role within a structured 24-hour support package. You will play an important part in helping her live life her way — with dignity, independence and the reassurance of consistent support from people she knows and trusts.
She enjoys getting out and about and making the most of life, including visits to the beach, boating, exploring new places and spending time with friends. This role is about much more than completing tasks. It is about building trust, encouraging independence and supporting someone to enjoy the things that matter most to them.
Care is provided as:
2:1 support during day shifts
1:1 support during night shifts
You will be working as part of a small, dependable team on a planned rota that includes long days, sleep-ins, nights and alternate weekends.
Because this role includes supporting mobility and outdoor activities, a good level of physical fitness is important.
