We’re looking for caring, compassionate and reliable Homecare Assistants (we call them Care Experts) to support customers around Truro, with flexibility to help across Mid & West Cornwall.

No previous care experience is needed — we provide full training and ongoing support to help you feel confident and valued in your role.

Our pay and benefits include:
£12.62 per hour (weekdays)
£12.82 per hour (weekends)
50% extra pay on Bank Holidays
Paid travel time
Paid mileage at 35p per mile

A typical day

Your day might include:

Helping a customer start their morning feeling comfortable and confident
Sharing a cup of tea and a chat that brightens someone’s day
Supporting someone to get to the shops or an appointment
Helping with meals or settling someone in for the evening
It’s about being there, listening, and making everyday life that little bit easier.

Key Responsibilities

Every day is different, but your support will help customers remain independent and safe at home. This may include:
Supporting with personal care, such as washing and dressing
Medication reminders
Providing companionship and emotional support
Helping with shopping, meals and light housework
Supporting customers to get out and about or enjoy activities
