Job Description:

£13.44 per hour | Daytime Hours | Care Home Setting

We are a proud, values-led care provider looking to recruit an experienced Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team within our care home.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys taking pride in a clean, well-run kitchen, and is happy to step up and support cover when needed.

£13.44 per hour
Hours

07:00am – 18:30pm
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
Some weekend working required
Involves holiday and absence cover

Key Responsibilities

Food preparation to a good standard
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen
Washing up and general kitchen duties
Supporting the cook and wider kitchen team
Following food hygiene, health & safety, and care home standards
Experience Required

Previous kitchen experience is essential
Confident in kitchen operation
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, organised and flexible
