About the role
Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall is looking for an experienced, compassionate and reliable Complex Care Support Worker to support a young person with complex care needs in the Tresillian, TR2 area.
This is a full or part-time role providing 2:1 support at home and out in the community, during both term time and school holidays. You’ll be part of a dedicated care team, helping the customer feel safe, supported, engaged and able to enjoy everyday life as fully as possible.
This role would suit someone who is calm under pressure, observant, patient and confident supporting someone with complex health and communication needs. Previous care experience is essential, and full specialist training will be provided for the specific needs of the role.

A typical day
Hours weekdays & weekends as well as support in School
This may involve supporting with personal care, specialist care needs, activities, community access, engagement and family routines.
You’ll work as part of a 2:1 support team, helping the customer feel safe, understood and supported throughout the day. Full specialist training will be provided, so you feel confident in the care you deliver.
