A typical day

As a Live-in Carer, you’ll become an important part of your client’s daily life.

You may start the day by supporting your client with their morning routine, sharing breakfast together, assisting with medication, or helping them prepare for appointments and activities. Throughout the day you’ll provide practical support, companionship, encouragement, and reassurance tailored to their individual needs.

Some days may involve trips out into the community, helping with hobbies and interests, or simply spending time chatting over a cup of tea. Other days may focus more on personal care and supporting health and wellbeing.

What makes live-in care so special is the opportunity to build genuine relationships and provide consistent, personalised support that helps people remain independent in the comfort of their own home.

At Taylors of Grampound, we’re incredibly proud of the reputation we’ve built throughout Cornwall. Families trust us with the people who matter most to them, and we’re equally committed to supporting the carers who make that possible.

When you join our live-in care team, you’ll become part of a company that genuinely values its staff, recognises the difference they make, and works hard to ensure they feel supported, respected, and appreciated.
